Northern Bohemia is famous for the Krkonose Mountains and some of
the best ski resorts in the Czech Republic. There is already quite
a bit of foreign investment money in these towns.

The ski town of Spindleruv Mlyn at night in the Krkonose Mountains.
Spindleruv Mlyn Valley includes 3 major ski hills and many small ones. Since
the town is set on the side of a mountain you can ski from your home to any
of the three major ski hills. This photo is looking down the valley from
a house on the hill.
Looking out the window of one of the penzions (bed-and-breakfast) during a heavy snowfall.
Many people in town make their living from the tourist who come to ski or hike. This
is a beautiful little penzion (bed-and-breakfast) that we stayed at.
Local roads and another penzion in town.
You can ski right through the middle of town and directly to your penzion or
home.
