Pardubice is conveniently located 1 hour from Prague by way of the newly completed D11 highway. Over the last 10 years Pardubice has become a hub from which accessing the rest of the country is easily attained.

It was the location where the famous Semtex explosive was developed during the 1950s and 60s.
