CzechInvest announced on August 10th that Red Hat, an American software company, will be expanding their Brno development center to hire another 150 employees.
IBM Brno faces increasing competition to secure the best talent coming out of the local technical universities.
In order to fill all the necessary positions hundreds of employees at the IBM Brno center are not Czech citizens but come from other EU countries such as Romania, Bulgaria and even many non-EU countries such as India. In fact their website states that 80 different nationalities are employed.
