Pavel Mertlík, chief economist at Raiffeisenbank’s Czech unit, says the Czech recession is now spreading from the export-oriented manufacturing sector to domestic services. “While it may seem that the worst is behind us, next year and the second half of this year will still be rather ugly,” Mertlík said.
