Concept of the new terminal at Pardubice Airport

The city of Pardubice supported the new airport terminal in the amount of tens of millions Czech crowns.

Pardubice is an ideal transportation hub. The location of the city provides ideal connections to the other major cities in Czech Republic. Thanks to this great infrastructure the area is often sought by investors. To plan to expand beyond road and rail transport has now received much support from the state and private investors. The need to create high quality air links with the rest of Europe led investors and city representatives to work together to achieve a grant from the regional operational programme.

Pardubice airport is still waiting for a very large investor who would be able to elevate the Pardubice airport to one of the most popular and most modern regional airports in the Czech Republic.

Due to strong demand from Russian-speaking clients Pardubice airport now has regular flights to Moscow and St. Petersburg. In the summer there is also interest in flights to southern European locations.

The interest is still increasing every year and thus the increased number of passengers.

All this creates an environment to support a new airport terminal.
