Khuppi from our Prague office gives a frank discussion of the current situation on the Prague property market in 2013.

Interviewer: Khuppi, let’s talk about what’s been happening this year with prices in Prague. What have you seen this year so far?

Khuppi Gin Khan: Overall, I think property prices is slightly dropping up to 0.6 percent according to Hypotecni banka and I think it’s applied to the Prague market as well.

Interviewer: Okay, good. And why do you think it’s that way?

Khuppi Gin Khan: Since the local buyers are leading the buyer’s market right now, the property price is attractive for buyers and also we see more properties coming up which are suitable for investment properties.

Interviewer: Okay, what do you mean suitable for investment property?

Khuppi Gin Khan: For example, right now, smaller flats are more demand than bigger flat and that is also effect because of the increasing of energy.

Interviewer: Excellent, so that there is more people looking for smaller flats.

Khuppi Gin Khan: Exactly.

Interviewer: Yeah, very good. Thanks, Khuppi.
